I have a question for you, do you have the plugin Visual Composer active in your web site? Because this add-on must need to have this plugin installed.

Hello. I’m french. Sorry for my english. I have exactly the same problem. I installed the visual composer addon plugin but it’s IMPOSSIBLE to ACTIVATE this plugin.
The message I have :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_shortcode_param() in /var/www/clients/client2/web5/web/wp-content/plugins/showcase-visual-composer-addon/includes/vc-showcase.php on line 6

and and other message in the plugin description :
“Important: You must need update the your .htaccess”.

I’ve seen this plugin in action and LOVE it. I need help getting it to work on a new site I’m building. It have installed/activated, but do not see detailed instructions on the .htaccess file.

What are the steps after installing/activating?

I look forward to using this plugin myself and will promote if I get adequate support. Very cool system when running properly!

I did’nt use this plugin. Why ? I di’nt remember !

You need to go in “Settings > Permalinks” and click on Save Changes button.

You need only made a update in your “.htaccess”

I have the same problems as the other people who already posted: WHAT does it mean

WHAT UPDATE? What exactly should one write/change in the .htaccess? Sorry but, as is, that sentence is useless.
