HTML autoresponder

Hi – hoping someone can help.

I’m trying to set up an HTML based auto responder on Contact Form 7. So this email will go back to the person who has filled the form in, with a little thank you message.

Now, I’ve checked the ‘Mail 2’ box, and checked the ‘Use HTML Content Type’ and then have pasted my HTML into the message body filed, but when the thank you email gets sent the email appears completely blank.

Should I be doing this another way at all?
