“HTML” button isn’t working

  • When I try to write a post or a page, the “HTML” button next to the “Visual” button won’t work. Whenever I click on it, nothing happens. I have tried re-uploading/installing wordpress multiple times. This has included clearing my database and trying to install it to a different directory.

    What really bugs me is that I just installed wordpress on a different server/database and it works completely fine there. I just can’t get it to work on this particular site.

    I am having this same problem, wondering if anyone as come across a solution.

    I am new to wordpress and not particularly bright, so realise it is probably something I have done. I have searced on google and these forums to find an answer, but with my limited knowledged I might not be using the right terminology and therefore missing discussions about it. If this is the case and it has been discussed a million times, I apologise.

    For interests sake, we have just moved the website to a different address, and downloaded 2.7

    I would appretiate any help, but just bear in mind that you will need to talk to me like you would a 4 year old, before you decide to take me on. Thank You!
