HTML Code in Reviews not formatted correctly

  • This is another regression from a previous version.

    In our reviews we used HTML code (text editor) and would link to the product the customer reviewed (our products are variable products – so multiple colors per product). And we would like the specific review to the color of the item. For ex. a review (in text editor) would look like:
    Amazing Fit. Short player. Great fit and look. I brought another 4 colors. <i>Customer Purchased: <a href=”https://www.avalongolf.co/product/players-golf-jogger-navy-blue/” rel=”ugc”> Men’s Players Golf Jogger in Navy Blue</a></i>
    and display like: Amazing Fit. Short player. Great fit and look. I brought another 4 colors. Customer Purchased: Men’s Players Golf Jogger in Navy Blue
    After upgrading to version 2.0 – our reviews are no longer formatted correctly. We have over 6,000 customer reviews. Is there a batch way to have these reformatted correctly? They all display correctly in the standard woocommerce reviews display however incorrectly in ReviewX. Let me know how we can fix this so they display correctly.

    Thank you, i appreciate the prompt reply. As far as this functionality, this was available in the previous version. Specifically in the back end editor area (could choose to edit review in either Visual or Text editor (and we would add the item color the customer purchased (and hyper link it in the Text editor section – resulting in the formatting being correct).

    Will this be possible in a future version of the plugin? We have over 6,000 reviews and every single one is now displaying as plain text (not formatted with HTML code).

    That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! When you find out if it is something you will do or will not do, can you let me know (as we are currently deciding our next steps (if we should be manually editing every review and get rid of the html stuff).

    Guys, ive given up on version 2.0 (even the new release of 2.0 non cloud version has MAJOR issues). Ive reverted back to the old version which works flawless. Ill continue to work with this moving forward. You can close this ticket if you want
