    Hi Tooltipy team.

First of all; great plugin you guys made for everyone to use.

For the price we will probably purchase the PRO version but I have a problem that I need to know can be dealt with (with unpaid or PRO version).

I am trying to use tooltipy together with “collapse-o-matic”. Collapse plugin lets me put a [expand]More information…[/expand] in the html-editor.
This works great with the tooltipy box that actually reacts and encompasses the additional text that appears. But on the glossary site that is “generated” by tooltipy the [expand]…[/expand] code is then visible as normal text.

For example: Lorem ipsum [expand title=”Mehr…” targclass=”maptastic” trigclass=”arrowright”] dolor sit amet,

Does this behaviour come from the tooltippy plugin and if so is there a way to avoid this. Be it in the free version or Tooltippy PRO?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @samjatin,

Thanks for a such detailed issue question, but I tried collapse-o-matic in my Tooltipy site with the free and pro version and it seems it’s working with both of them, check this page with the Blink keyword :
    https://www.tooltipy.com/glossary/?cat=tooltipy-cat

Check if you did some thing wrong or maybe if Tooltipy or collapse-o-matic are out of date and let me know if that helps ??

    Thanks

    Hi again,

If it’s still not working please try this last but not published version of Tooltipy on GitHub :

    Hello Jamel,

thanks a lot for the freaking quick response!

Good to see that it does work. Now I just have to find the reason why it does not work on my site ??
I am going to try the version you linked tomorrow and will report back.

Again thanks for the quick help.

Edit: Yes, both of the plugins are up-to-date. Just installed tooltipy today. Will first try the new version and if that does not help have closer look at the collapse settings.

So I found the error. At least the one in my case.

Since I am pretty new to this whole wordpress/html/css world it took a while.

The page where the shortcode [tooltip_glossary] was inserted was running the “SiteOrigin Editor“. I removed that widget in the Pagebuilder and replaced it with the standard html widget.

Now the collapse-o-matic [expand] shortcode does not show but is working as intended.

So obviously not any fault with your plugin. Maybe emphasize on your plugin installation tab that one needs to be sure that the code needs to be in a pure hmtl setting (for other newbies like me ?? )

Again, really appreciate the quick and detailed help. Since we will make a lot of use of tooltips on the site we will surely buy this plugin.

    Have a nice day!
