• Hello all,

I am not particularly tech savvy, and I have been instructed to export the html files of the website that I created on WordPress, to another host so that they may host the site. I understand that this plug-in should be able to help me with what I am trying to do, however I am unable to acquire a Zip folder that can be opened after the export. I am using a MacBook Pro, and every time I am complete with the “extract” a zip file is created, but when I try to open the zip file, I am taken through this never ending loop of unzipping the file to a CPGZ file that will NOT open, NO ONE CAN OPEN THE FILE PLEASE ADVISE THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, if there’s no private info in the website, like a password protected section of the website — then can you upload a copy of the zip file to some place like Google Drive or Dropbox so we can take a look.

It might be something easy that’s only affecting your 1 MacBook and doesn’t affect other computers.

    Sincerely,

    Roger

P.S. Maybe try exporting/saving that zip file from a different computer too, before you make it available for us to check out. (And you don’t have to leave it available long, you can delete it after we take a look. )

    Hi Roger,

Forgive me as I haven’t been able to provide the requested zip, I will be accessing the zip from a different computer and I will forward it to you.

I will add that the individual that I am attempting to send the zip too had requested I follow similar suit and we were unsuccessful with the dropbox method, it still yielded never-ending CPGZ loop

Hi Roger, I have exported the zip from a different computer and have added it to my dropbox. Where should I send it to!?

I meant google drive, not dropbox forgive me.
