• As reported by several others, the update to 5.7.3 can make emails sent badly formatted. i.e. all content on a single line.

The changelog states: “HTML Formatter: Does not insert a br element at the beginning of a paragraph.” I guess this is causing this problem? Anyone who has the checkbox “Use HTML content type” checked on a form will notice a change to the layout if they have not inserted the br elements but are relying on them. I’ve not yet tested this but I assume unchecking this box will solve the problem? If so perhaps you need to highlight this with a message to those who have updated recently.

  • Additional… [br] and </br> do not work, as if the new template is ignoring any html.

Confirmed that unchecking “Use HTML content type” does produce cleaner mail with line breaks and new lines.

    FADmark,

    try with </label/br> !

    — <label> E-mail [email your-email ….] </label/br> —

The tag </label/br> make line break.

I thought it was weird, but i could only handle it like this.

I hope it solves it for you!

The best solution would be to allow line breakage and determine the size of the fields to display.

This is causing me issues too, when using with Mailgun for WordPress. I have “use HTML content type” checked. Unchecking this doesn’t work either. Thanks

Another option is to use the layout of three divisions (both siderbar), so is each field in a row. That’s what I used in my theme. I certainly have other options, but I didn’t have the ability to find it.
