HTML hell…

hello! I have a WP site as a sub-domain of Bluehost account. I want to add a private page and import an HTML folder to fill that page. Following instructions, I created the page, made it private, created a new folder in the WP page folder in Bluehost c panel that contains the page and its supporting files. Looking at it via path “myWPpage.net/privatepage.html” all I see is index files. Now I’m stuck…I can’t figure out how to get the page to import that HTML info; all I see are “upload” options and nothing that refers to to the c panel. I upload the HTML file through Gutenberg file block but it doesn’t include the attendant files so there is nothing when I preview page. I must be overlooking something! Any suggestions welcomed!
