html – how do I see it and change it?

    How do I see the html code for an element of my wp design? And if I edit it, how do I save the changes I made in the html code?

  • Hi Anna,

    you can see your WordPress theme Html output with your internet browser (press right mouse buton on your website and view page source or inspect). If you want to edit your theme code you need to open theme folder located in WordPress/wp-content/themes/[your theme] with text editor (for example sublime text) and then locate the template you want to edit.
