HTML in Category name

  • I have the nice plugin to allow HTML in category descriptions, but I also need HTML in the category name.

    This is intended for adding bootstrap class icons to the category title.

    Any ideas? I tried a few things but failed.

    How to do this is theme dependent. I’m not even sure where the title you want to change is. If you can find the part of the template that outputs the category title, you may be able to simply add your HTML directly to the template.

    If you do that though, you will lose the alteration when you update your theme. To prevent this, you can create a child theme and keep your altered template there.
