HTML in excerpt

Anyway I have a question or suggestion.

Is it possible to show the excerpt as non-tag-stripped text (in single widget-areas with own css-class)?

Background: I would like to use rpwe on a start page in magazine-style and want to display the latest post in full format with headlines, breaks etc.
