    Hi, as this plugin outputs OG tags, do you recommend using the following:

    <html lang="en-US" prefix="og: https://ogp.me/ns#">

    Instead of just

    <html lang="en-US">

    In my header? Thanks

    Hi Marty,

    I don’t necessarily, but when implemented, only conditionally: “are there tags?”

    We can’t control the theme’s output (annoyingly), so this tag is omitted.
    Facebook and other OG services are aware of this and have adjusted as necessary, so the tag isn’t required.

    Basically, this all means that Facebook comes prepared, with the ogp.me/ns dictionary, before crawling any site and will look for the og:... tags accordingly.
