    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the message and correct you are… If you simply replace the double quotes (“) with a single quote (‘) that should fix your problem.

    Try the below instead:

    <a href='https://site.com/policy/'>privacy policy</a>

    I will put a note just above the input about this in the next release and place your question in the FAQ section to avoid such issues in future.

    That worked.

    Note: I first uninstalled the plugin and deleted the cookie_banner_options row from the Options table, then did a clean reinstall. This may not have been necessary but I did it just to be sure.
