HTML Markup Errors

  • Hi,

    I have been using Recipe Card plug in for some time, but recently problems have started to occur. Firstly, the text has started to indent which looks messy (I posted this problem before, but it remains unresolved).

    Then I noticed that some (but not all) of the widgets in my sidebar had moved closer to the body of the text. I took to the WordPress forums to try and fix this and was told it was most likely due to the large number of markup errors on my site. When I investigated what they were, the vast majority of them were generated by the Recipe Card plugin.

    I don’t really want to delete the plugin – can you shed any light on this?

    The widget problem occurs from the Tags widget onwards.

    Hi –

    I just took a look at the markup errors, and the ones related to Recipe Card seem unlikely to cause any layout problems. Can you try disabling Recipe Card to see if the layout problems correct themselves?

    As for the indentation problem, I’m not seeing the problem. Can you send a screenshot to [email protected]? Also, please include the browser and device on which you are seeing the problem.
