• New version, new problem… HTML is not longer supported, for exemple <br> tag doesn’t work anymore.
Is not the first time that we see a ‘NON-reliable” process after update, its very annoying.

  • The message field under the Notice Settings in the Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR/CCPA plugin backend doesn’t seem to support HTML anymore after the latest update to version 2.1.2. This is problematic because links and HTML tags are now being shown in plain text which breaks the users’ experience, looks unsightly and unprofessional.

I can confirm this. I use the <br/> tag in all my Cookie Notices, and the html now shows up as plain text after updating (luckily) on only a test site.
I tried to insert a normal line break in the ‘Message’ area (by using the Return key). That didn’t work either.
No HTML inserted inside the message area works anymore.
