• Hi,

A couple of months ago I added a time and date clock to my site which appears on every page on the right just below the header. I got it from one of those free sites. I want to remove it completely from my site, but I can’t remember for the life of me how I uploaded it to my site! Obviously its in one of the menus somewhere in editor, but I can’t remember which one or what to look for. Anybody know?

    My site is https://www.myperfectpitch.com

    Thanks in advance,

    Brian.

  • If it is a widget you can remove it from the widgets area in your backend.
    Or add: table#c2 {display:none} to your style.css.

No its not a widget. I remember cutting and pasting a line of html, but I just can’t remember where in editor I pasted it, or what the html was.

Looks like it’s in a text widget. To remove it, go to your dashboard, then to Appearance –> Widgets, locate it in your sidebar (which is displayed on the right side of the widgets page), expand it using the arrow icon, and click on the “delete” button. However, if you wanted to save it, you could just drag it out of your sidebar area to keep it for later use.

    Dear Alain,

Updated to say, my sincere apologies, you were right it was a widget! I really don’t remember putting the code in a widget, I was convinced it was the editor somewhere, but thank you very much for prompting my failing memory!

    Best regards,

    Brian.
