Hi, I prompted the AI to respond with html heading tags and it does that perfectly. However, when clicking to convert it into a post, the html is removed. Enabling the legacy feature Html formatting does not help.

    Hey @symergo ! ??

Are you using the content generator or are you taking the response from the chatbot to create a post? I cannot find any instances of “convert it into a post“. I’ll assume you are using the content generator, in which case the content is sanitized and then formatted using markdown to be converted into HTML. ??

The HTML formatting is utilized for displaying the chatbot’s responses and doesn’t impact the behavior of your posts. ??

Hi Val, I’m indeed using the Content generator. With “convert it into a post”, I refer to hitting the “create post” button at the bottom .

We instruct the AI to generate proper html headings in the output. These appear in the content generator. I understand from your explanation that the html is removed on purpose before copied into the post content.

Could you explain (or refer to documentation) on how to have the content generator create “markdown” for the headings that is used to generate proper html headings in the post content?

    Hey @symergo !

You shouldn’t have anything to do per se, the prompt should specify to the AI to “use markdown” and then they will be automatically converted as headers. With “Use Markdown,” the headings would be (## ). ????
