Beautiful plugin. However I’m having trouble getting styling to work as it looks like the ” are getting escaped. Do you have a work around for this?

trying to do something like the following:

    <div style=’text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 17px; font-weight: bold;’>[post_title]</div>

    Hi theheavenlyhash,
    Thanks for your message.

I’ve just tested this and can confirm it’s a bug occurring with both double and single quotes.

The next version of the plugin is currently in development so a fix should make it into this. Not sure on the release date yet but i’ll update this thread when it’s out.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Wow thanks for the quick reply… I’m pretty savy and can make an update to the plugin while we wait for this…

Seems as though its getting escaped here at the setting[‘message’] call as i replace $message with my html code and it comes through fine

Can you point me in the direction of a quick patch/hack to get this working until you release the new version?

    Hi theheavenlyhash,
I’ve been investigating this and haven’t been able to replicate again.
My initial test where I marked it as a bug, was using the ‘Send Me a Test Email’ button which is stripping the formatting.
Regular, triggered emails are coming through fine and HTML isn’t escaped.

Is that what you were experiencing?

    Thanks,
    Jack
