Html tags in product name (title) woocomerce

    Hi. I use <br> tag in product names on woocomerce. I just wanted to add Author to the Book title and I just cant find any other solution. Book title <br> Author – that is how it looks like. To me it works fine but maybe its dangerous?

    Hello @krisp303 you unfortunately can’t add HTML to a title tag. You either add a hyphen and then – author’s name or use custom code to add this feature in the backend with a metabox. For that you’ll need a developer if you’re not familiar with hooking WooCommerce.

    As mentioned, it is not possible to add HTML to the product title.

    If you are selling books, you might want to look for plugins that can help you with that. Some plugins can have several features created specifically for book products.

    You can search on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

    Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.
