HTML URLs working in text field?

If I enter a text like:
line 1
line 2
line 3
line 4

I get:
line 1 line 2 line 3 line 4

Unfortuneatly your developer version cancels every content was written before and does not send any content via Email.

Downloaded the developer version from github and copied the plugin content to the website via ftp and overwrote everything. Must overwrote with the stable version again to get the content back.

Fix will be included in next release.

Please note I have remove that HTML link clickable feature from the compliments plugin.
Instead I have added a filter.

So you have to add this code in your theme’s functions.php file to make the link clickable.

tested now an got all Emails again. Clickable links work also, if I enter the code snippet in the function.php – great work!!

Unfortunately I’ve two more issues that exist:

1. All text is sent in one line, although I wrote:
Line 1
Line 2
Line 3

see comment to the top!

2. The capitalization works now in sent Emails but not in Buddypress notification area see screenshots https://www.screencast.com/t/FE2qcxTgD

For your first problem, in your theme functions.php file add this line.

add_filter( 'bp_comp_message', 'wpautop' );

Its better you delete existing plugin, then install the dev copy
