html5 homepage links wrong to wordpress blog

    Hey guys,

    I could totally need some help with the following problem.
    I’ve got a homepage I made with a template and html5:

    https://www.florian.lazzari.tirol

    I’m linking to my blog which runs in a subdirectory on wordpress (actual version). As I click on the “blog” link on my homepage I get linked to the wrong page https://www.florian.lazzari.tirol/blog/index.html instead of https://www.florian.lazzari.tirol/blog

    I guess it tries to search for an index.html even though I’m not linking to it. I tried a lot of stuff and did some research but it didn’t get me anywhere yet, I think there is an easy solution but I just started using wordpress today, so my knowledge on this topic is quite limited.

    hey bensita, i just tried it with chrome and it works lol
    also works with my mobile, doesn’t work with mozilla (which is my main browser) though. i might ask which browser you used?

    I′m using Chrome, but after your comments I tried with Mozilla Firefox version 43.0.1 and is working fine too!

    By the way, is also working good on IE and Safari ??

    still can’t figure out what’s the problem for me though:

    funnily it only happens the first time. if i use the backlink to my homepage and click on blog again the problem is solved, until i refresh the tab…

    Maybe is something regarding Firefox cache.
    Did you try cleaning cache?

    no i didn’t do anything, but now it seems to work just fine even for me lol no idea what was wrong.. but thanks anyway ??
