    Greetings,
I’m having issues using WP Cerber with ‘WooCommerce Store Credit’ plugin.

When I create store credit (which sends automated email to user), I get back this error: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

The store credit gets applied to user account, but email does not send, and WP Cerber relays this message in Traffic Inspector:

    https://www.mydomain.com/?post_type=shop_coupon&p=3495/feed/
    HTTP 404 Not Found

In Antispam settings, I have enabled ‘Use less restrictive policies (allow AJAX)’, but the issue persists.

Is there something I must whitelist? It appears this plugin utilizes Rest API, but I cannot find a namespace in PHP code to whitelist, and this article confuses me greatly: https://wpcerber.com/antispam-exception-for-specific-http-request/

Any helpful suggestions would be very appreciated! Thank your sir!

    Hi!

If you find out how “WooCommerce Store Credit” actually works, I probably can help you. It doesn’t seem it uses REST API. Did you “check your site admin email inbox for instructions”?

No admin emails were actually sent, so could not find instructions.

That plugin has two methods to create store credit.

I discovered the ‘quick & easy’ method that plugin creates store credit was not ideal regardless. This was the method I had technical issues with.

It did not allow creating credit for single-use only, or limit to specific products if desired, so disabled that method for Shop Manager role.

Instead, we now use the ‘advanced’ method in the Coupons page of WooCommerce, where usage limits and other important settings can be adjusted.

This method does not produce errors, so I consider the issue resolved.

    Thanks for replying!
