    Please help! I’m quite new to all this and now I am getting a HTTP 500 server error, and am I right in assuming its my fault?

    I went into edit themes – Editor and removed some information from footer-details.php and I now get the HTTP 500 Error on everything and can’t even get into WordPress.

    So, have I removed something I shouldn’t have?

    I then thought if I could find this file on the FTP, I could edit it (and put back the bit that I removed) – but I can’t find the file.

    I then download the zip version of the theme, thinking I could copy the file with ftp – but I still can’t find the file in the .zip that I have downloaded.

    Please help! Below is the code that I removed.

    ‘function freesiaempire_wp_link() {
    return ‘‘ . __( ‘WordPress’, ‘freesia-empire’ ) . ‘‘;
    }

    function freesiaempire_freesiaempire_link() {
    return ‘‘.__( ‘Themefreesia’, ‘freesia-empire’) .’‘;’

    Pro tip: NEVER EVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER edit php from appearance->editor. When you make a mistake, you’re SOL.

    So, download a new copy of the theme, unzip it, and upload (via FTP) a clean copy of the file you modified

    OK. It now appears that you are missing images. Try editing those posts and re-setting the image. I get a 404 when I try to view the image.

    You seem to be missign a lot of images

    Thank you – what images?

    The only thing I changed was that footer-details.php, which I then downloaded from the theme zip ( a new version) and then uploaded.

    When I look at the site everything is there.

    Thank you for your help, I am just confused?
