I am getting the following error when trying to run /wordpress/wp-admin/install.php:

The website cannot display the page
    HTTP 500
    Most likely causes:
    The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.

    What you can try:
    Refresh the page.

Go back to the previous page.

    More information

I am trying to setup on our own Windows 2003 server running IIS 6.0, PHP 5.2.9 and MySQL 5.1.
I can get other PHP scripts to run that connect to the MySQL server. I am the server administrator. I have configured the wp-config file with the correct information but somewhere along the line the script is failing. It doesn’t great any tables in the database. Thanks for any help.

I ended up having to locally download the .zip file and installing in the web root of the server under www/blog/wordpress folder. For whatever reason it would not run under just www/wordpress. I then had to run the install from a remote computer as it initially set up all links to the /localhost/. Seems to be running just fine and I didn’t change anything from the original step for the config file.
