• I’m trying to upload images via the WP media admin of my site that I’m developing, it keeps giving me an ‘HTTP Error’ as soon as I click on the upload?

I have been in contact with the hosting company, so far I have renamed the image names to be smaller, resized to be a max of 3000px wide, changed them from .jpg to a .png and am still having the same error.

I have just tried again to get the exact error message, it worked with both images uploading?

I think there is still an error, though it may be intermittent?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is commonly caused by an over-aggressive configuration of your server’s mod_security module. Try asking your host about it.

You may need to increase the amount of memory. Again, ask your host about it

    Thanks for the reply.

This site is hosted on a FREE server that I’m using for the development of an online Creative Media Course, once I’m ready to go live, it’ll be on a proper hosting plan!

I have been in touch with them, they told me about the maximum size for images that WP would be able to handle, and the file names?

I guess then the problem will go away?

    Thanks

    That may be the problem.

You might want to check your PHP Configuration – if you are able to change it, select 7.0 — solved all my problems on my image upload issues.
