HTTP error

  • When larger MP3s (20MB or more) are uploaded to the Media Library, the status bar stalls at 100% and then after a while a message is displayed on the WordPress screen which says “HTTP Error.” When the Media Library screen is refreshed, the file is displayed in the Media Library, but with the local web server URL instead of the Amazon URL. But then after a while, the URL of the file is changed to the Amazon S3 link.

    Smaller MP3s (4MB) don’t run into this problem.

    This problem only started happening after June 12, 2019.

    Did the newest version change something?

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Do you have the same problem with the same large media file when WP Offload Media’s “Copy Files to Bucket” setting is turned off?
