    Hi,

    I have been using your plugin for many years and it has always worked very well for me. I do have an issue though with one of my sites that wont seem to work at all. I have deleted the plugin directory via ftp, reinstalled and am still getting the 500 error. I have disabled my maintenance plugin as well.

    Please try my solution by using another cron method.
    modify wp-config.php ( you can find this file in your root directory ), and before the line:
    /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
    add this line:
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON' , true );

    But I would recommend you to contact your hoster and ask them why you got error 500 on wp-cron.php and let them fix it for you.

    Hope that helps!
