After the update when activating the plugin the website gets HTTP ERROR 500. The WP dashboard is still visible but we cannot access the rest of the website. Activated the WP Debug and this is the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function has_block() in /home/tobinhill/public_html/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/includes/init.php on line 72

Please advise on how to fix. Thanks.

Hi, Milah. Sorry to hear that. Can you let me know what version of WordPress you are running? If you are using a version before 5.2, you might have this issue.

There may also be another conflict causing this too, and I will try to look into that for you.

I clicked through to the site and noticed you are using version 4.7.3 of WordPress.

We now require WP 5.2 or higher. I will see if we can avoid this issue, but there are likely to be other issues when running PMPro on a version of WP that old.

If you upgrade to WP 5+ and want to avoid the new block editor, you can check out the “Classic Editor” and “Classic Widgets” plugins in the repository here.

Thank you for the update. We’ll update the WordPress version and test if we still have the issue. For some reason, we cannot do it from the dashboard and are working with the hosting provider.
