    We are moving the websites to webgo managed SSD vServer

    When I enable Wordfence plugin, or with Wordfence disabled and bulletproof security enabled I get http 500 server errror, I cant access front or back end

    I was able with Bulletproof security activated (but not their .htaccess file) to select delete settings on uninstall

    With your plugin I can’t go to settings and do that.

    Checking other cases, I tried in user.ini the correct path to the wordfence-waf.php file, I also deleted the entry in the user.ini file and deleted the wordfence-waf.php

    But I still get 500 server error, I have to manually in ftp move or delete wordfence plugin folder and files.

    I also get the same behavior with Bulletproof security, and only way to get rid of 500 server error is to delete the directories.

    I mention both plugins because may is something I need required in my server config ?

    allow_url_fopen = Off
    file_uploads = On
    max_execution_time = 200
    max_input_time = 300
    max_input_vars = 1000
    memory_limit = 512M
    post_max_size = 128M
    upload_max_filesize = 256M

    Above is my user.ini file

    How do I manually delete all the wordfence tables safely ? do you a plugin tool ?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @startechmarketing, thanks for your detailed message.

    I think issue you’re seeing is caused by the auto_prepend_file in your .htaccess or .user.ini file (depending on your environment) that points to the wordfence-waf.php file. You can simply delete this line manually after downloading/editing the file using FTP or your hosting file manager. Wordfence will return back into “basic protection” mode. Once your site loads again instead of giving you 500 errors, you can re-optimize the firewall using our wizard, which will reflect the new path.

    You may also find the following instructions helpful in case anything was missed during the move: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/#migrate-with-wordfence

    Many thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi, Thanks for getting back to me, those were removed, but still had the problem, I manually deleted the tables after I uninstalled it, checked some things on the new server and today I got it working now in learning mode . but works so far

    Great news, Wordfence may remain by default in Learning Mode for 7 days, but you can always change the firewall to “Enabled and Protecting” sooner if you’re satisfied everything is now working!
