I tried to update my blog with the hueman theme to the latest version 3.1.6 via autoupdate but mistakenly, i refreshed the page. after that i was getting the message as “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance Check back in a minute.” then i searched for the problem so the solution i get from the forums is to delete the .maintenance file, i just deleted that now i’m getting an error as

    page isn’t working

bangaki.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

    what shall i do now?

i have not taken any backup before update

  • Hi,

I can see that you had managed to get your website back online.

No, it is still showing the error, when i scroll to any other page or post

    The bangaki.com page isn’t working

bangaki.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

    Any idea how to resolve?

It’s working fine for me also. I didn’t receive errors on any of the pages I visited. One suggestion would be to check with your host and see if they have any error logs related to your server. That might help pin down what you’re seeing.

    Hi

    Issue is resolved,

I Tried switching to the default theme automatically by renaming current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using File manager. That get my site back up and back into the admin area.

Next, I downloaded a fresh copy of my theme, uploaded it folder to wp-content/themes and then extracted it over there and Finally, tried switching back to (now updated) theme.

I had exactly the same issue. Called my Hosting provider and they fixed it in about 30 seconds!! They just increased my memory limit – yey, Well done HostHi.
