I replaced the files with the older version and things are back up and running. How would I go about upgrading in the future without breaking everything?

What version of PHP are you using?

Which version did you have to go back to?

    Thanks!

    Jon.

    Hmm, that’s strange.

Next time you try to update, can you make sure that php error logging is on and logging to a file – and verify it’s logging to a file. I can’t diagnose a 500 error, but it should produce error output to a log file that I can take a look at.

    Thanks!

Also, can you give me a list of plugins that you are using? I am wondering if the 500 error is caused by a conflict.

    Thanks!

I can get back to you later. I was panicked I wouldn’t be able to revert and wanted to start a dialogue. I’ll try to get back to this this week.
