http error 500 in Dashboard after APL Update to 0.4.2.

Wordpress dashboard gets http error 500 immediately after Advanced Post List plugin was updated 0.4.2. The dashboard worked prior to the update and APL was the only plugin updated. The rest of the site seems to work ok. Any suggestions on how to recover short of asking my ISP to roll the site back prior to the update?
