HTTP Error 500 when trying to activate plugin

    Hi everybody,

    i tried to look for the solution myself but couldn’t find any answer so maybe you can help me.

    I am developing locally using MAMP a custom theme and wanted to install contact form 7 plugin, but when i try to activate it, i get this error :

    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    I tried to change the memory allocated for php and disable all extensions but it is still not working.

    Do you know why it is not working?
