I have entered the appropriate API key and it simply won’t connect. I’m using chrome browser and I know it has issues with some forms, but not usually the kind used in the wordpress back end. I’m not sure what to do, it might be a bug, but I just uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it with the same issues. I don’t have access to my ftp client, so this will need to be resolved on the wordpress back end or not at all.

Oh and mailchimp is not showing any API calls, failed or otherwise.

Thanks. I really wanted to use your plugin.

    Hi there,

This would indicate that the plugin is unable to connect to the MailChimp API server. This is a webhost issue. You should ask your webhost if they have a firewall that could be blocking remote requests to https://api.mailchimp.com. Also, they should have cURL updated to the latest stable version.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

Having same problem with mail chimp plugin it works on localhost server but when i try to implement on live server it encountered an error

HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to host

    Any Suggestion ??

    Hi there,

    See my previous reply please.

You should ask your webhost if they have updated cURL to the latest version and if they allow remote requests to https://api.mailchimp.com.

    Hope that helps!

    Thankx For Quick Reply Danny
