http error on file upload

  • Hi

    I’ve got a new Network Site running on a hosting company and package I’ve used many times. However, on this new installation I’m getting a http error everytime I try and upload. This is using both Chrome and Firefox on OSX. However, when I tried to upload using Android, just in the Chrome browser (not the WordPress app) it worked fine.

    Any ideas?

    Ok this is just weird and very annoying!

    I deleted the install and started again, hoping it was some sort of permissions error which would be fixed by wiping clean.

    Now, I managed to set up the site and got several images to upload. A few failed, but were fine second time around. Then the bug kicked in fully, and I can no longer upload anything from my laptop browser without encountering the error.

    I’ve also set up the Android app. This hangs on media upload and needs to be killed.

    But still, doing it from Chrome on Android, and it works without a hitch.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
