"HTTP error" when uploading media

    Website using the plugin: margarettimbrell.com/wp/
    WordPress Version : 4.1.1
    Instagram Slider Version : current (downloaded yesterday)
    Theme Name : Fukasawa

    My Problem : Plugin causing error when I upload media. Cannot upload media via WordPress’ media uploader any longer due to these errors. Can only upload via FTP. I uninstalled the plugin and deleted the files but problem is permanent. Spent 3 hours on the phone with my host troubleshooting and 3 hours online troubleshooting. No luck. Problem persists. This plugin has caused permanent damage to some files. Please advise how to fix this issue.
