• Hello to everyone. I’m using the Kadence theme for a website because of its speed. Its speed is really extraordinary. I am very pleased. First of all, I owe a thank you and congratulations to the theme makers.

There are almost no problems, and not to mention the constant updating. However, there are http problems on many pages of the site. When you view the page source .the entry-hero-container-inner CSS selector is giving a 404 error. Also, the source of this image gives a 404 error.

What do I do? Is this error due to an incorrect setting or Litespeed plugin?

I think because of this error almost any of the pages of the web site cannot be tested by Google tools on Google Search Console.

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I checked your website but I’m not seeing the 404 error you are referring to though. Is this something that you already managed to resolve?

I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Michael

    Hi,
    Glad you’re enjoying Kadence.
It sounds like your images are not loading over https, but rather http. Could that be the case? Also, have you cleared all your cache?

    Kindly,
    Hannah

@michaeltarongoy @hannahritner Thank you really for the quick reply.

This error was not a 404 page error, which is the error that pages cannot be accessed. Or it was not about the uploaded images that are already being loaded over https.

I am adding 2 images below. For some reason, the address of the background image in a css selection in the theme starts with http. That’s why I get “not safe” warnings on some pages, while there are no problems on some pages.

The Google index problem had nothing to do with it, but I would still like to solve this problem, since the web site belongs to a person with whom I help.

In the meantime, the theme, plugins and WP are up-to-date.

    Hi, @heptasarim!

There is a “Mixed Content” warning for the background image. To fix this, you can go to Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Page Layout > Design tab. Then, re-select the Page Title Background image – https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uG5Zpq.

If this did not fix the issue, you can refer to this article for other steps in fixing mixed content. After doing so, purge any cache and see if the issue will persist.

I hope this helps and let us know if we can assist you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Karla
