http: timeout awaiting response headers

    Hi,

    I got a 500 error message when trying to import on domain without https. The data links (demo-content.xml, widgets.json ) comes from AWS .

    On ajax call ocdi_import_demo_data the response is
    net/http: timeout awaiting response headers

    Any idea why this would happen?

    Hi @wpstream,

    and this error does not occur on sites with HTTPS?

    Are the AWS links of import files protected in any way?

    It would be best if you can host the import files somewhere else, update the URLs in your theme and try the import on that site again. If it would work, then there is something blocking non HTTPS requests on AWS.

    I’m sorry, but we never came across this error before.
