https changing to http

I installed an SSL certificate on my site. The slide images are still http, even though I have change the wordpress urls in Settings -> General to https://www.mydomain.com and I’m access the site via https.
I tried changing the Image URL to https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/Slider_2.jpg
Save.
Refresh the site, and the url on the guest side is https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/Slider_2.jpg.Admin side, in the slide the url is still https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/Slider_2.jpg.
Any ideas why this is happening? It seems like the slide url is being rebuilt and ignoring the actual url I enter. Nothing is stuck in cache either because all my other changes happen.
