https, css breaking when a published post is updated

Try to force SSL with one of the plugins listed below:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/really-simple-ssl/
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/force-ssl/ (Although it’s been two rears since the last update, this is the most recommended plugin to force SSL)

Thank you. I ended up adding the following the my htaccess to force ssl

# Redirect HTTP to HTTPS
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !^443$
RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
