HTTPS for Music Store

    Hello everyone,

    So I am making a Music Download website. Exciting but also terrifying.

    I would like to site to run HTTPS on either the download page or the entire website. What are you suggestions about this?

    Also, does the host install the SSL for me as soon as I choose the HTTPS during initial installation? I know I will have to pay for this.

    The only thing I need to get my head around.

    You need to talk to your host about SSL. Some are now doing this for free using letsencrypt.com. It depends… ??

    If you’re going SSL, it’s a lot easier to use all-SSL all the time rather than trying to flip back and forth between http and https.
