• Great plugin! However, I have an issue in my website where I cannot change the wordpress address URL/Site address URL (when I do so, I cannot access the dashboard any longer, so I have to force https redirection via htaccess)

So I was wondering how can I manually override the sitemap.xml to swap http with https? Because it seems it uses the General settings to create the https://www.mywebsite.com/sitemap.xml

I wasn’t able to locate the file sitemap.xml on my server either.

Hi, the plugin takes the normal permalink URLs generated by WordPress. This includes the default protocol. If you site home URL is on http, the link in the sitemap will be too.

Are you saying public access to the site is forced to https, but the Site Address URL cannot be set to https because that breaks admin access? Do you normally access the your admin/dashboard via https or via http? And is your WordPress Address URL set with the https or http protocol?
