• Hi. Recently got an email from Google saying Chrome will display a ‘not secure’ warning for my login page as it is not https based. How can I fix this?

  • You need SSL. Look at “LetsEncrypt”(free SSL)-not all webhosts allow you to use it easily (it cuts out their reselling SSL services.) ZeroSSL allows you to use it manually.
Cloudflare can also give you SSL. It’s a CDN.

You may want to make sure your ‘canonical’ is “www.yourWebsite.com”, not “yourwebsite.com” It seems to prevent some problems, but too complex for me.

    Hi @mpbaweb,

Can you please provide a screenshot of the browser console tab so we can further check?

    Thanks.

    Hi
We do actually have a SSL certificate for our site, but I am thinking there is some confusion between mpba.org.uk and https://www.mpba.org.uk. I think the certificate is assigned to the domain without www but I have setup the whole wordpress install as https://www.mpba.org.uk so the login page is https://www.mpba.org.uk/login
