I thought I had already removed the http part from Youtube embed URL. The browser should load http or https according to the website that’s embedding it.

Your plugin I really like, checking my page I see that embedding youtube videos generate redirections for example:

Remove the following redirect chain if possible:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/hBarIHMnRjQ?autoplay=0&loop=0&rel=0
https://www.youtube.com/embed/hBarIHMnRjQ?autoplay=0&loop=0&rel=0

Remove the following redirect chain if possible:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/zVNnn-LxkUs?autoplay=0&loop=0&rel=0
https://www.youtube.com/embed/zVNnn-LxkUs?autoplay=0&loop=0&rel=0

To solve this you have to edit the files:

helper-functions.php
class-randomvideosidebarwidget.php

changing:
//www.youtube.com/embed/

By:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/

I would like that the next version will add this to optimize and make an excellent video plugin.
