HTTPS thumbnails

I’ve had issues with thumbnails triggering mixed content errors on HTTPS, so i changed youtube-channel-gallery.php:533 $youtube_feed_url to ‘https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api’, which seems to work fine.
I saw some SSL fixes in the change-log, any reason this wasn’t set to https already? Could you have this added to the future versions?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/youtube-channel-gallery/
