I recently installed the HubSpot for WordPress plugin. The site is in development with an IP address to the host account running PHP5 in a Linux/cPanel environment.

After creating the needed forms in HubSpot I copied the HTML for the forms and pasted 3 of them into the shortcode textarea boxes then saved to insert the shortcode on the appropriate pages of the site. It worked for about 5 minutes and allowed me to submit a form successfully.

When I returned to the HubSpot settings and selected shortcodes the three codes that were previously created were no longer there. I saw the message the create the forms in HubSpot then paste the form html here but the textarea box was no longer visible nor could I refresh to make it come active again. Following this the account information in the hubspot plugin was also reset. I have now tried resetting the plugin with the Hubspot account info five to six times each time only to see the settings reset.

I have deactivated the plugin and reactivated it to make the shortcode textarea come available again only to see it repeat the same issue. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin to reactivate the shortcode textarea only to see it happen again.

Any and all help at this point is greatly appreciated. I know the plugin has to be better than this.

Thanks in advance for the help.

  • A few people have been experiencing this issue. I made some basic fixes that might help which should be on www.ads-software.com in a few minutes. I’m still working to fully understand the problem and will make updates as I figure it out.

Some things that might help me fix this:
Which plugins you are using? (I know this can be a pain to put together but it would really help)
Which version of WordPress are you running?
    Is it a MU install?

I also forgot to ask which version of PHP your host is running. The plugin only supports PHP 5+.

Thanks for your work on this.

I’m running WordPress 3.1.3 and this is not an MU install.

The server hosting this site runs PHP 5.2.17

I did upgrade on the changes you pushed out this afternoon but it’s still resetting and loosing the short codes.

I did notice it seems to reset after I’ve put in the third short code each time I’ve tried today. Hope that’s helpful.

What’s the status on fixing this short code issue? Thanks so much.

Spending some extra time on this today. I’ll let you know what I come up with. The list of plugins helps a lot. I’m going through to try and find any conflicts.

Have you made progress toward fixing the short code issue yet in the Hubspot plugin? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. Progress has been made and the new version has been uploaded to www.ads-software.com. Let me know if everything works.

I’ve added forms to the HubSpot WordPress plugin and have been using the shortcodes to add forms to respective pages in the web site. I’ve got a very long form that when added to a page with an iframe requires me to set the height to 7400 px in order to display the entire form without a secondary scroll bar on the page (seen here: https://www.middletoninc.com/about-career)

Within the shortcode settings, is there a way to adjust the height of the area the form will display in. Is this in the CSS somewhere? If so, what do I need to make this adjustment?

Thanks for your help with this.
