Huge 3.5.1 Notification still shows in 3.6.1

    When I went to the plugin dashboard page in my admin, I was presented with a huge admin notification with instructions on how to upgrade to 3.5.1 that seemed undismissable (clicking the top-right X did not dismiss it on the plugins page).

    Only after uninstalling and re-installing could I dismiss the notification, though because I’m on a version later than 3.5.1 it seems like I shouldn’t see it at all.

    If you turn on debug log, click dismiss button, what did you get from log? Can you paste it?

    As noted, I’ve dismissed the notification already after updating. But the notification is still for an older version of the plugin. Shouldn’t it be removed completely?

    Well, the message function didn’t check the version in v3.5. If you can dismiss successfully, the upgrade notice banner should be able to auto dismiss in future releases.
