    Not sure why we need to make circles.

    The cleanup doesn’t work. That’s it. Simple. Nothing wrong with my WP server/site.

    I bet if people take a peek at their utils/temp they will find huge ammount of undeleted files.

    Thanks anyway. I will have to remove this plugin since having all those inodes (files) created a problem to my backup. Can’t backup.

    Ha.

    Just deactivated your plugin and the temp captcha files were cleared totally. So there is definitely not a permission problem but some bug in the software.

    I did manually deleted all files (but .htaccess). Same problem.

    I can give you access to your plugin ftp folder only. Not the root of the site.

    Also as I said before, the next wpDiscuz release will come with an option to change file system storage of CAPTCHA files. So the /temp/ folder will no longer generate any file.

    This problem is now solved, after some update you did.

    So i’m closing this since the cleanup works ok.
