Huge amount of SELECT queries

  • Hi,

    A little difference with topic ‘spam users in wp_users after wpsc upgrade’

    I see a huge amount of select queries (far more than the traffic), growing bigger and bigger so I have to restart the server.

    The current was about 6000 queries/s !

    Each time it goes down is because I kill the process or restart the server.

    When looking into mySQL process list, it shows that this related to wpsc selecting users.

    It didn’t happen before I upgraded to PHP 5.4

    I don’t know what to do about it !

    Interesting : problem seems to restart at the beginning of each hour.
    Maybe should I inactivate wpsc_hourly_cron_task ? What does this cron task do ?
