Huge boost to speed!

  • After analyzing my site on Google’s PageSpeed Insights, I looked into WP optimization plug-ins (mainly focusing on minification). I was impressed by two elements for FVM: no changes to existing code (easy to back out if I don’t like it) and intelligent replies to bonehead comments.
    I decided to install FVM and ran with default options (leaving off emoji scripts), merely disabling minify from my W3 Total Cache and clearing cache. Easy ….
    I rechecked my site on PageSpeed Insights. My numbers jumped remarkably: mobile (59 -> 86) and desktop (75 -> 99). That’s an excellent plug-in, eh?
